Cuándo no te conviene

Pacaya Samiria with Amazon wildlife tours. A great experience in Amazon forest. The 4 day 3 nights tour to Pacaya Samiria with Amazon wildlife tours went excellent. The local guide Herman was of excellent knowledge about the all animals and plants we could possibly meet during the trip. He was very keen for us to see as much as possible and did his outmost. Special thanks to the travel agency that helped us with the boat to our next destination Leticia. Securing the spots and putting up the hammocks. I can really recommend this agency.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Great trip Our 2D/1N Amazon rainforest trip was a fantastic experience, made even better by our guide, Allen. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every part of the trip enjoyable. We explored the rainforest, spotted wildlife, and even tried a bit of piranha fishing, which was a fun addition to the adventure. We also loved all the boat roads and spotting the birds. Everything was well-organized, with free transfers from the airport and we always felt safe and comfortable. A great short trip for anyone wanting a memorable taste of the Amazon!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

One of the Best Ever One of the best tours of my life.. we had 4 days booked with them. Chori our boat captain. Mari our chef and Lezer our guide... Best trio we had for 4 days.. we did more than we thought, they went above and beyond to make sure we see enough of the jungle, find spots to see wildlife. They were flexible with schedule and we went on night as well as day hikes..always ready to go again day and night. This was one of the best experience in my life and made better with this terrific team.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Amazing! My experience with Wildlife Amazon Tours was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, I wish I could have stayed even longer. A huge part of what made this trip so special was Alan. He is unbelievably knowledgeable about wildlife and the Amazon ecosystem—it felt like every walk, boat ride, or excursion turned into a fascinating learning experience. What really stood out, though, was how much he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible time. He went out of his way again and again to tailor the experience, point out hidden wildlife, and make every moment memorable. The food was another highlight of the trip. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. It added so much comfort after long days of exploring, and there was always something new and satisfying to enjoy. The entire trip was also extremely well planned. From activities to timing, everything flowed smoothly without ever feeling rushed. It struck a perfect balance between adventure, relaxation, and discovery. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience. If you’re considering an Amazon tour, I can’t recommend Wildlife Amazon Tours enough—especially if you get the chance to explore with Alan. I’d go back in a heartbeat.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Amazon wildlife and cultural experiences I want to start by saying that exploring the Amazon River was by far one of the most fabulous experiences I've had. The lodge offered a perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Wildlife sightings were amazing, we saw sloths hanging in the trees, baby caymans at night and even pink dolphins. We had the chance to swim in the river along the dolphins and it was magical. Our guide Allen was outstanding; he was always responsive and knew everything about the jungle. He personally took care of every part of our trip, making it effortless and completely enjoyable. Because of him, we were able to enjoy every second of our stay and not worry about other things. Allen made this trip unforgettable.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Incredible We spent three days in the jungle with Allen, and the place was absolutely incredible—far beyond anything I had imagined. We explored the Amazon River, where we encountered fascinating local wildlife. We fished for piranhas and even swam with dolphins—truly unforgettable experiences. I also had the chance to participate in an ayahuasca ceremony. Allen arranged for a shaman from a nearby village to lead the ritual. I’ve had psychedelic experiences before, but this was something entirely unique. The presence of the shaman, the atmosphere he created, and the strength of the brew itself made it an unbelievably powerful experience. I highly recommend this trip—not only for those who want to explore the jungle, but also for anyone seeking a deeper, more intense experience.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Also there is a starlink connection in the lodge, so we were able go online when needed. For the first day it was just the two of us and Allen. We basicly had a privat lodge and tour. The second und third day another couple joined us. So no big group and incognito feeling. Very personal and individual premium experience. Couldn’t imagine doing Iquitos/the Amazon any other way My friend and I were looking for a day trip to explore the Amazon River and rainforest given our limited time in Iquitos. She found Amazon Wildlife Tours from reviews on Google and Trip Advisor and we’re so glad we did; I can’t imagine having done Iquitos any other way.Allen was very responsive and asked what we wanted to see and customized the experience for us. Our first day, we went on a tour of the Amazon River. On the way up, we stopped at Fundo Pedrito where we saw some wildlife, and at a lodge where we did a rainforest hike (we saw several species of monkeys, a sloth, and some birds) and had an amazing lunch. On the way back to Iquitos, we went piranha fishing (my friend caught 3!) and dolphin watching. It was exactly what we wanted to experience. Allen inquired about our plans for the next day and offered to help us with our planned excursions (to go to the Butterfly House and see Belen Market) and suggested we also visit the Bora tribe. We hadn’t realized we would need a boat to get to the Butterfly House. We were iffy on visiting the Bora tribe because we were concerned about trivializing an indigenous people. But Allen recommended it and it was a great experience and didn’t feel that way at all. He has a great relationship with the tribe and the experience was respectful of the tribe and their customs. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Allen is extremely knowledgeable, having worked for years in various tourism-related jobs around Iquitos. His english is impeccable. He pays attention to what you’re looking to experience and works with you to tailor the experience.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Great Experience in the Amazon We just got back to the US from Peru - Allen the rest of the team gave us a great experience in the Amazon. We had recommendations from a local friend for the rest of our experiences in Peru, our stay in the Amazon was the only one we found on our own. So we were a little nervous flying into Iquitos going off online reviews. We were met at the airport by a trusted cab driver known to the team. We were then taken to the river and the adventure began! It is a small operation - it was just me, my wife, and 8yo son for the trip to the lodge, along with Allen and Julio the pilot of the boat (although others were at the lodge). They found us some grey and then pink river dolphins, then we went swimming in the Amazon. They were always flexible in what activities we did when, planning each day to fit what made sense based on the weather and our preferences. My son saw so much wildlife, held a caiman, caught and ate piranha, swam with dolphins. It was an amazing experience. On our last day our flight was late in the evening, so Allen helped us to spend some time in Iquitos rather than wait in the airport (Iquitos has a beautiful boulevard along the river). He held our bags for us and also went out of his way to make sure we had transportation to get to the airport on time. Full service! At the lodge the food was very good. There was plenty of filtered water available for us to fill our water bottles (the only time we found this in Peru). Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, particularly to our 8yo who had lots of questions and frequently wanted to feed the chickens. Highly recommended.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. We went on a 3D/2N tour to Pacaya Samiria. We had a wonderful experience which was our highlight in Peru and this tour really played a big part in it. It was easy to arrange with Allen, he picked us up at our hotel and ensure we were dropped off at the airport and came to greet us goodbye. We changed our plans to go to Pacaya Samiria because it seemed like a more authentic experience, which it was. We were staying in a lodge which had good facilities, we could meet other groups and the food was delicious and good portions. The guides were with us throughout the whole day, taking us into the jungle and on the river. Roney and Oscar were super kind, we asked them a lot of questions and had great conversation and insights into the plants, area, and animals. We really wanted to see alligator and turtles so they took us to an extra night excursion to search for them. Pacaya Samiria had a lot of wildlife and different areas to explore. The travel time to get there from Iquitos is about 5 hours, so I would recommend spending at least 3 or 4 nights as we regretted only having 2. I would 100% recommend this tour and visiting Pacaya Samiria, and would love to go again! Thanks so much to Allen.Posted on Google![]()

I had a wonderful time on this tour with Allen. He and his crew take care of everything from the moment you step out of the airport until the moment you step back into the airport (or hotel). I especially appreciated the wildlife tours and native/local village tours. I would like to come back in the future to do the pacay/samaria tour with him. Highly recommend. P.S. we did some fly fishing and I caught some red belly piranhas. They cooked em for us back at the lodge and it was surprisingly tasty!Posted on Google![]()

We had the BEST time on our 3 day, 2 night tour. Piero was the most incredible guide, knew all the best spots, and had answers to all of our questions. The communication with the owner was excellent. They provided PLENTY of delicious food at every meal. Highlights of our trip were catching 11 piranhas and visiting monkey island. We also did several walks through the jungle to observe biodiversity and a couple of canoe trips on the lake behind the lodge. We cannot recommend this experience and this company more! So thankful that we chose them for this once in a lifetime experience. Make sure to bring bugspray :)Posted on Google![]()

We absolutely loved our 4-day trip to Pacaya Samiria with Amazon Wildlife Tours! Allen was an incredible guide with so much knowledge about the wildlife and the national park. He was so organised and planned out amazing days for us, making sure we got the most out of every moment. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife and had the perfect mix of adventure deep in the jungle while still being comfortable at the lodges. The beds were comfy, the food was fantastic, and we were so well looked after. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious, and we were well fed throughout the entire trip. Having access to showers and toilets at the lodge was also a huge bonus after long days exploring. We also had a local guide from the village near the lodge who was amazing. His ability to spot wildlife and guide us through the jungle was unbelievable. His knowledge of the area and the animals made the experience even more special. We honestly couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Our only regret is that we didn’t book more days! Thank you so much to Allen and the whole team for such an unforgettable experience. Posted on Google![]()

Our trip to the Amazon in Iquitos, Peru was seriously unforgettable. We saw monkeys, sloths, colorful birds, amazing plants, and even grey and pink river dolphins, all surrounded by incredible jungle scenery. The guide was super friendly and knew so much, sunset boat rides on the Amazon River felt magical. The lodge was really comfortable, the food was great, fresh and tasty, and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was such a cool experience. The whole trip was adventurous, relaxing, and eye-opening. I’d definitely recommend visiting the Amazon in Peru if you love nature and a little adventure.+6Posted on Google![]()

Had such a great tour 4 day 3 nights to Pacaya Samiria! The local tour guide named Ermán was exceptional, always eager to show the animals spots and taught to do some sounds to call them 🌴 Swimming with dolphins at sunset was incredible, thanks to Erman for all the tips and sharing a lot about his community and growing in Pacaya. Juanita cooked amaaaazing! She prepared vegetarian food very nicely and wasn’t expecting such variety of dishes and beverages 🤤. Allen was very responsible and kindly helpful in everything needed to make a great stay and even supported beyond asked in the next boat trip to Leticia. Definitely recommended to support locals!+5Posted on Google![]()

The tour with Amazon wildlife tours to the Pacaya Samiria national park went excellent. I can really recommend this agency.
